Curriculum Information

5th Grade Homework Policy

We value your family time. Therefore, we will be intentional with any homework we send home. Students’ daily homework will require reading for at least 30 minutes.

Students will have nightly math homework, which supports the learning we do in class. A variety of new math concepts are introduced in fifth grade, which is crucial for students' growth and understanding. Additionally, study guides and other assignments may be sent home periodically throughout the year.

Please Note: If a student exhibits off-task behaviors, fails to complete an assignment, or is struggling to understand a concept, an assignment will be sent home for completion.
